At some point or another, whether through choice or happenstance, many of us have ended an evening at The Court. Although we can't go full party animal just yet, with the easing of restrictions, the popular venue will be re-opening for meals next week.

They have also launched their takeaway and delivery service, complete with a drive thru bottle shop, home party packs and gift hampers.

One example of a hospitality venue constantly adapting to the ever-changing COVID-19 situation, The Court team have not stopped for a second during this crisis. After winning ‘Best Redeveloped Hotel’ at the WA AHA awards back in 2008 and Best Late Night Venue in 2019, The Court saw the forced closure as an opportunity to continue the renovation of its 130 year old building.

Hotel owner Bree Maddox said the first change made was a renovation of the front bar, which now features stunning mosaic walls, chandeliers and a new entertainment space.

“We were joking if we did get the green light to reopen we’d be caught with our pants down as some elements haven’t even hit our shores yet! Looks like we were right!”

The Court team have also created a range of At Home Party Packs and Gift Hampers, as well as developing and opening a bottleshop in the rear car park. They believed that this allowed them to continue their services in a way that was a little different.

Bree commented:

“One thing this crisis has made us realise is how important the hospitality sector is to the community... The emotional impact of not being able to catch up with friends, have a birthday or wedding, or even losing something as simple as Friday afternoon drinks has hit us as a society hard.”

With over 10 kits and hampers available, there’s one for every occasion and you can even have it personalised it with a photo.  All hampers are available to order via The Court website.

“People kept telling us they missed their birthday at The Court so we thought why not bring a bit of The Court to them?”
Two examples are: an ‘Inappropriately Working from Home’ party hamper including beers, candies, fun stationary and other whacky desk items; and a ‘House Party Kit’ consisting of a bottle of Jager, a four pack of V, a bottle of Absolut, two mixers, amongst many other goodies.

As for the meals from the Court, they can be collected via the drive thru bottle shop and the menu varies from Hummus Plates, Waffle Fries and Pizzas to Beef Briskets, salads and more. If preferred, these can also be home delivered.

The Court’s team continues to adapt to the changing restrictions, striving to support its loyal customers and its dedicated staff members. For more information on how you can enjoy their latest features or reciprocate the support, check out their website here.
