Allegiance Wines home vineyard is located in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains in the Tumbarumba wine region, produce a range of cool climate wines from this region.

SOILS The soils of the Mannus Valley are very fertile with excellent pure water sources. The vineyard is predominantly decomposed granite over clay which has delivered high quality growing conditions.

GRAPES Tumbarumba varietals focus on Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Other regions are predominantly Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

CLIMATE Tumbarumba can be very cold and for some vintages it is a tough place to grow grapes. The greatest challenges however often deliver the best growing results on cool summer nights.
