Serial Killer Smile
Coming together in Perth in 2009, Serial Killer Smile spent a little over a year writing their material and solidly rehearsing their show before playing live to West Australian audiences. Their debut shows: A baptism of fire, supporting one of the country’s most solid touring bands, Full Scale Revolution on their west coast run.
Forstora
Australian hardcore collective Förstöra are devoid of reflection. The noise and neon slide by them as they work, intent on laying waste to anything without anchorage, taking contemporary punk, rock and metal forward as so much around them recedes.
Law of Attraction
Law of attraction is an up and coming Alternative Metal band hailing from Perth, Western Australia. With influences sourcing from Deftones, Karnivool, 10 Years, Dead Letter Circus and Tool, Law of Attraction has what seems to be a style-transcending sound, often too difficult to categorise into any specific genre.
The band’s seeds were sewn in 2004, in the hearts and minds of young Clint Bouffler (guitar) and John Barrett (guitar/vocals). Adding percussion, courtesy of Benn Lofthouse (drums), a year later, the trio began producing a sound replicating their unique mix of inspirations. The task of providing the bottom-end to this sound was eventually tackled by Andrew Norman (bass), completing the instrumental section.
