Enjoy the rustic vibe at The Village Bar on your lunch hour. Every week there is a different lunch special priced at around the $20 mark. Although it changes week-to-week, some of the previous specials have included a refreshing citrus and halloumi salad, and mouth-watering lamb ragout fettuccini pasta. Jus Burgers

Jus Burgers is known for its healthy, rustic burgers, but really it should be known for its insane weekly specials. From Monday to Wednesday, Jus Burgers offers up a cheeseburger royale, chips and a coke for $11.50, which is a deal you jus won’t find elsewhere. On Thursdays, they offer two burgers, two chips and a wine and/or beer for $40, and on Fridays you can treat yourself to a craft beer and any burger for $18. Apart from on Monday when Jus opens at 4.30pm, the deals are available all day so you’re free to grab lunch at whatever hour suits. Plus, you can order in advance via their app, so no need to wait in line.

1982 Food + Coffee

The simple and seasonal menu at 1982 Food + Coffee makes them a go to for lunch. Across the workweek, you can expect a different lunch special nearly every day, always for $10.90. Monday, Tuesday and Friday’s offerings are the classic burger, on Wednesdays you can try a Morrocan chicken bowl, or try something a little different and order a Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowl on a Thursday.

The café has a cosy, funky feel, with heaps of natural light and a beautiful blue bike as decoration: an invited change of scenery from a typical office space. Pop by from 11am-1.30pm to get in on these lunch specials.

Six Senses Gourmet Thai

If you are craving a curry or stir-fry then head to Six Senses on your next lunch break. The lunch specials are takeaway only and are offered from 12:00pm until 3pm. Prices range from $13.50 to $15.50 depending on what meat you would like in your curry or stir-fry, with seafood options available. You can get Thai Green Curry, Panang Curry and Pad Thai.

KiRi Japanese Restaurant

KiRi opened up in 2008 to give local people a taste of exquisite Japanese cuisine. From Monday-Friday, they offer a lunch combo deal for $20, which includes rice, salad and a choice of two of the mains: Teriyaki Chicken, Teriyaki Tofu, Chicken Karaage or Chicken Katsu. They also offer a Mushroom Miso Soup for $10 in the warmer months. Head to KiRi to excite your tastebuds.
