Rain, Hail or Shine is a specially themed collection of new shows and live interactive experiences throughout the month of April. Expect a fun, family day out jam-packed with scientific stories of storms, wind, and fire.
Join Scitech’s puppets on the big stage for One Fine Day and discover the ingredients for fire in A Perfect Firestorm. Plus, splash around in Discoverland, blast sky high in the Planetarium, and experience the changing Noongar seasons in the stunning Banksia woodland exhibit.

Three culturally diverse artists, Aasiya Evans, Desmond Mah and Harrison See, creatively contemplate the complex issues of identity faced through a personal, spiritual, political and social narrative. Their art is a demonstration of an inter-cultural, inter-connected method of creating experiences of life in Australia. Explore the relationship between humans and habitat, dive deep into the science behind biodiversity, climate and carbon emissions and discover how the smallest of actions can have a big impact on the world around us.
See the inner workings of a tree, learn about endangered species and step into a banksia woodland to discover what effect your actions have on the fragile ecosystem. Use pedal power to explore electricity generation, storage and transfer and unearth ways to give nature a helping hand, starting with your own backyard.
