Animal Farms in Southern Forests

The Southern Forests region of Western Australia offers a variety of unique animal experiences for visitors. In the Great Southern area, the Denmark Animal Farm allows visitors to hand-feed farm animals, cuddle baby rabbits and guinea pigs, and get up close to alpacas, joeys, emus, and camels. Daily at 3 pm, visitors can assist with bottle-feeding baby lambs, goats, and calves. Just thirty minutes east of Albany is the Old Marron Farm, offering Segway tours, opportunities to pet farm animals, and a wander through a large aviary.

Near Walpole, visitors can enjoy spotting quokkas, known as one of the happiest animals on the planet, in the vegetation under the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. The Bunbury Wildlife Park is home to over 100 animals, including rare native Australian mammals like white kangaroos, flying foxes, quolls, woylies, and their resident koala, Frank. In the Manjimup/Pemberton region, South West Farm Stay Accommodation offers the chance to feed over 100 friendly farm animals, providing entertainment for the entire family.

These animal farms and experiences offer a delightful opportunity to engage with the natural beauty and unique wildlife of Western Australia's Southern Forests.
