One Wednesday of each month (February to November) from 12 to 2pm we run a popular event called Lunchtime in the Gallery. Our volunteers put on a light lunch which is followed by a presentation from a guest speaker.

Plenty of free parking!

Jenny McGrath

My paintings capture those moments of quiet solitude that rejuvenate the sense of joy in life, inspired by my love of the raw natural beauty.

Description

Living in Western Australia with so much stunning scenery has generated my passion for painting.  I love the beauty found in nature and I use a visual language of colour, form, and texture to emphasise mood, feelings and expression.

My paintings often explore the relationship between nature and the elements, capturing those moments of quiet solitude that rejuvenate the sense of joy in life.  Inspired by my love of natural beauty each image is an exercise in meditation, enabling the viewer to lose themselves in the study of form, colour and atmosphere.
