The Irish Club was formed in 1950 to promote the national and cultural aspects of Irish life in Perth. From humble beginnings the club has grown and is now located on Townshend Road in Subiaco. The club has a non-political, non-sectarian policy and welcomes people of all nationalities to enjoy the ambience of the club as members or guests of members.

If you like Irish culture, plays, music, sport from around the globe on the big screen, good food, cold drinks and fantastic fellowship in a relaxed environment, then the Irish Club of WA is the only place to be. Plus, they hold a pub quiz every Tuesday night, offering a cash prize.

Starting in 2001, OUTdance is a great opportunity to meet new people while you learn how to dance in a safe, relaxed environment.

Dances include Cha Cha, Cubam Rumba, Barn Dance, Disco Madison, Evening Three Step, Jive, Progressive Jive, Quickstep, Samba, Square Rumba, Slow Rhythm and Tango.

Playgroup is for children aged 0-5 years and their parent or caregiver to regularly meet, form friendships and play. There are many different playgroups in WA, with most groups meeting at weekly sessions during school term at a local community venue or school. Some playgroups are large, holding many sessions each week and others are smaller. Most are run by parent volunteers in their local community. There are also playgroups for specific groups including supported playgroups run by a facilitator. Playgroup WA is the peak body in WA for playgroups, providing support and advocacy. The Quinns Men's Shed is run and supported by a team of volunteers including welfare officers, counsellors, Occupational Health and Safety practitioners and advisors on health issues.

A men's shed is a community-based organisation open to men. They provide a friendly, inclusive environment where men of all interests, ages and cultures are welcome. Men's sheds aim to improve the health and wellbeing of their members. They serve as an important meeting place for men to socialise, share life experiences and skills, make things, fix things and support each other and their local communities. 

The heart of Rotary is “Service Above Self”. Rotarians around the world work tirelessly, volunteering their time individually and through their clubs, to make communities and their world a better place to live. Who can be a Rotarian? Wanneroo Rotary Club is part of an international network to bring together businesses, professional and community leaders with diverse backgrounds to make the world a better place through humanitarian services and to form meaningful, lifelong friendships.

Some community service initiatives planned for 2020/21 are Australian Anti-Ice education programs, school breakfast club program, Telethon for Kids autism research, and food banks for the homeless and needy.

The Embroiderers' Guild maintains a collection of embroidery and lace, contemporary and traditional, from Australia and overseas, for enjoyment, inspirations, study, research and teaching. We welcome both beginners and experienced embroiderers.

Most of our approximately 500 members learn and practice their embroidery skills in the social and sharing environment of our many groups that meet throughout the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.

The Guild also has an extensive and varied workshop programme, a large lending library, and a Historic Textile Collection which is open to members and the public by appointment.

The Guild also provides children's activities during school holidays.

The Collection houses over 1600 textile items of cultural and historic significance and is highly regarded as a specialised textile museum. It is part of the cultural heritage of Western Australia and reflects the beautiful needleart stitched by women and men of past generations and those of today. It is being cared for by the Guild's Textile Collection Group so that all the community can benefit. Everyone is welcome to view and enjoy it but you do need to make an appointment.

The Inner Wheel Club of Wanneroo (Previously Wann-Gara Inner Wheel) was originally formed by the wives and partners of the Wanneroo and Wangara Rotary Clubs. With over 25 years of history as part of Perth's northern suburbs, these women have raised over tens of thousands of dollars for local and international causes. They have a particular focus on helping disadvantaged women, and children, hospitals and aged care. 

To help local artists develop their skills, promote and exhibit their work and to come together and share information with other artists. The Society hosts meetings, exhibitions and other events and currently has over two hundred members.

Club memberships comprises of families and individuals of all ages. The range of club activities caters for the novice as well as the experienced drivers. Actitivies include social functions, day drives, weekend and extended trips both on and off road at various times during the year. 

The club meets at the Warradale Community Centre on the first Wednesday of each month except for January. Visitors are always welcome to attend meetings and club events. Prospective members are encouraged to attend two club meetings and two club activities before applying for membership. 

As an affilitated member of the WA 4WD Association, the club supports the aim to promote 4WD vehicle owners as responsible, community spirited people concerned with conservation and the environment.
