Entertainment Precincts in Perth & Surrounds

Entertainment precincts in Perth and its surrounding areas offer a diverse range of experiences for visitors and locals, showcasing the lively atmosphere and various venues, attractions, and events to explore. Notable precincts in the region include the Perth CBD, Elizabeth Quay, Northbridge, Fremantle, Scarborough, Beaufort Street, Subiaco, Victoria Park, Leederville, South Perth, and Burswood/Optus Stadium.

Each precinct has its unique charm and offerings, such as the mix of corporate and entertainment options in the Perth CBD, the waterfront destination of Elizabeth Quay, and the vibrant atmosphere of Northbridge with its diverse range of dining, bars, and cultural attractions. Fremantle stands out for its historic port city ambiance, while Scarborough boasts beautiful beaches and parks alongside entertainment options. Trendy streets like Beaufort Street and suburbs like Subiaco, Victoria Park, Leederville, and South Perth each offer their own blend of dining, entertainment, and recreational choices.

To ensure safety in these precincts, Protected Entertainment Precincts (PEPs) have been established in Perth/Northbridge, Fremantle, Scarborough, Hillarys, and Mandurah. These PEPs, named in honor of Giuseppe 'Pep' Raco, prioritize safety by preventing antisocial or violent behavior, allowing visitors and residents to enjoy these areas without fear. The State Government has collaborated with the Raco family and stakeholders to strengthen laws around violent offenses in entertainment precincts, striving to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
