The RahCon Pop Culture Convention returns for it's 5th convention in another fun filled, action packed day celebrating pop culture in Mandurah!

RahCon 2020 will be taking over the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 18th of April 2020, covering all facets of fandom including anime, comics, fantasy, sci-fi & gaming.

RahCon 2020's special guest host is Nich 'NichBoy' Richardson (The PSVR Show, Twitch ANZ, League of Legends OPL, screenPLAY and Good Game Pocket).

RahCon 2020’s theme is ‘Superheroes’!

Featuring traders selling the latest in toys, collectables and pop culture artworks. A cosplay competition, live performances, panels and quiz on the big main stage. Plus workshops, tabletop and video games, screenings and more. RahCon is a positive event for all ages interested in pop culture with plenty to check out throughout the day.

Description

This full length community production includes all the haunting favourites from the original sensational score - "Think of Me," "Angel of Music," "Music of the Night," "All I Ask of You," "Masquerade" and of course, the title song.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA tells the story of a masked figure who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine, and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordinary talents and by employing all of the devious methods at his command.

The winner of seven 1988 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA has been seen by over 140 million people in 144 cities in 27 countries. Worldwide, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA consistently plays to larger audiences and in longer engagements than any other musical in history.
