Description
Winner of James Halliday’s Dark Horse Winery of the Year 2017, Arlewood is a family-owned, boutique producer making elegant wines the Gosatti family and friends love to drink.
Arlewood's winemaking is inspired by the village of La Bratta in Northern Italy where hands-on owner Gary Gossatti’s ancestors were grape growers for the local community winery. The label began back in 1984 and in 2009 relocated to the cooler Forest Grove property, located 10km south of Margaret.
The Wines
Margaret River’s signature varieties are made with creative and intuitive winemaking techniques. Look out for the European inspired La Bratta Bianco and La Bratta Rosso. The Bianco has been a major hit with the critics, with James Halliday naming it a ‘Wow Factor White’ and saying it was, “a wine that brought goose-bumps due to my unabashed love of fine white Bordeaux… This is a tour de force of winemaking, underlain by a profound love and understanding of the fruit and its origins.”
Wine Tasting
Laid back, tastings of all the wines are available from 11am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A must see secret cellar door.

Description
Set in the beautiful Forest Grove just south of Margaret River is this tiny grape-grower and winemaker. Flowstone is the creation of local winemaker of 30+ years of experience, Stuart Pimms and wine fanatic businessman, Phil Giglia.
Their vineyard is located 6km inland from the Indian Ocean, where the Margaret River Plateau joins the Leeuwin Naturaliste coastal strip. Their approach is hands-on throughout the journey from grape to glass. Retaining their boutique size allows for an intimate understanding of the vines, the land and the production.
Critic James Halliday said of Flowstone early on, “every now and then a new producer will pop up with wines that are really good, and ultimately vie for inclusion in the list of ten of the best new wineries in the next Companion... this is one new winery that will quite certainly be in the top 10, for its ranks among the best I can remember."
The Wines
With an aim to be interesting and enjoyable, Flowstone creates both regional classics and some surprise styles like a rich and Gewurztraminer and Cabernet Sauvignon Touriga (a Portuguese twist in Margaret River’s famed red). Curious wine enthusiasts will love discovering these exciting interpretations that reflect wine styles the owners love to drink.
