Members of Sun Rising play the Duke Of George!

Description

Members of critically acclaimed Melbourne based touring show, SUN RISING, The Songs That Made Memphis, will take a night off from their annual WA tour this October, to finally showcase their own original music in one ridiculously genre-busting event at the DUKE OF GEORGE, Fremantle, on the 24th of October.


Piano player, Damon Smith, from celebrated touring show, CRAZY ARMS, along with musician, Adam Coad from Mental As Everything, will showcase music from their brand new, boogie and blues record along with acclaimed Melbourne singer/songwriter, David Cosma Music, who will finally give Perth a taste of his brand new record, @THE DEATH OF DISCOVERY.

Also joining them on stage is South Australia’s prodigious talent, Cookie Baker and guitar virtuoso, Adrian Whyte.

Support from Fremantle’s resident singer-songwriter, Tom Fisher and the Layabouts from 7 pm.

East Fremantle's George Street Festival

Running since 1989, this celebration of craft, community, fashion and culture is the perfect day out for the family.

Description

There’s so much to see and do at East Fremantle’s George Street Festival, with a variety of stalls, a roaming photo booth, art, jewellery and street food on offer. Spend the whole day at the festival listening to music on the main stage, relaxing on a train ride or viewing local upcycled craft and learn about sustainability solutions.
