The Big Western Rock Lobster situated on the corner of the Brand Highway & Moreton Terrace, is a must see when visiting Dongara- Port Denison.

<p> The Big Western Rock Lobster was built in 2005, and has made many visitors pull over and get their photo taken with it. Feel free to climb up onto it, and get your photo taken too!</p>

The Dongara Markets are held on the first Saturday of every month in the Town Park. Plants, honey, fishing gear, art & craft, wood-works, hot food, tools, olive oils, train rides, ladies clothes, hand-made gifts, jumping castle, raffles, pony rides, soaps and much more! Accompanied by music by local artists while browsing. Open from 8.30am—12.30pm

The Irwin River Mouth Lookout marks the starting point for the Dongara walking trail. The lookout also gives easy access to the nearby bird hide. Here you can expect to catch a glimpse of Eastern Reef Egret, Caspian Tern and Great Egret near the river mouth. Pied Cormorants are also known to roost along the river.
