Description

The Drop Festival is back for a third tour that's set to be bigger & better! Grab your mates, we're heading to Busselton in April.

IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION:

  • We require all names on tickets to match ID. Security will be checking on the day. Changing names later will cost an admin fee.
  • Everyone must provide valid ID to enter the event. Check the FAQ’s to make sure you’re covered.
  • This is an all ages event.
  • All attendees aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a responsible parent and/or guardian holding a valid Adult (18+) Event ticket. An adult can accompany maximum 2 minors. Full details here.
  • Children 10 and under are free but must be registered for a ticket.

FESTIVAL BUSES

Gannaways Bus Charters are running four bus services to get you to & from the festival without the stress. Return bus services run from these centres, making stops along the way:

BUS 1 : BUNBURY / AUSTRALIND

BUS 2 : PREVELLY / MARGARET RIVER

BUS 3 : YALLINGUP / DUNSBOROUGH

Tickets for these services are only available from Eventbrite and must be bought online in advance. There are no sales on the day.

BUS 4: BUSSELTON SHUTTLE BUS is a shuttle service from Vasse, along the Busselton Hwy towards Barnard Park. Tickets are $5 and can only be bought when boarding the bus each way.

Please note: children need a bus ticket to use this service.

Description

The IRONMAN 70.3 Busselton is returning to Barnard Park on Saturday October 17 and is inviting all athletes to join us! Swim alongside the historic Busselton Jetty, cycle through the picturesque Tuart Forest and then cap the day off with a run along the foreshore and through the event village to achieve that finish line feeling. Complete the distance yourself, or register as part of a team. To find out more or to register, please visit our website: www.busseltonfestivaloftriathlon.com.au

We have two distances available – a short distance (100m swim, 2km cycle and 500m run) for kids aged 7-11 years and a long distance (200m swim, 4km cycle and 1km run) for kids aged 12-15 years. Head down to Barnard Park on Sunday 18 October and join us for the Funman Teams Triathlon, a short and fun filled triathlon which caps off a great weekend of racing. This is the perfect opportunity for families and friends who might want to participate together, or even against each other. The Funman Teams Triathlon includes a 200m swim, 4km cycle and 1km run. Squid Fest will celebrate all the best bits about this intriguing Cephalopod with a program of events themed around water, wind, earth and fire on and around the Busselton foreshore.

Description

Ink your diary for 23rd and 24th October when a new festival celebrating the humble Squid jigs into Busselton.

Expect squid fishing competitions (with a cash prize), education and clinics, giant sea creature kite flying, south west sea and land food and wine sampling and demonstrations featuring cooking over fire, squid kids’ activities, live entertainment and more.  

The program will feature Friday night food and wines events, entertainment and learn-to-squid clinics; and on Saturday, visitors will enjoy a cheery south west culinary marketplace and entertainment on the Busselton Foreshore, squidding contests for kids and adults, and a colourful sea creature kiting display.

This is a free event, running from 4pm on Friday the 23rd and 9am Staurday the 24th.
