Details

Description

The Shire of Boddington, a part of the Peel Region, is only 1 1/2 hours drive from Perth City and is the perfect distance for a quick rural getaway or day trip.  Boddington has 2 of the largest ore producing mines in Western Australia, an abundance of timber reserves to explore and encompasses the Williams, Crossman and Hotham Rivers.  You can delight the tastebuds with local produce from our cafes, wineries and hotels, explore the walk trails and river pathways or set up camp in the riverside Caravan Park to relax in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.  The Boddington community is reknown for welcoming visitors and thinks nothing of engaging in a chat along the street or welcoming you to local events and activities.  Accommodation is varied and unique, from small main street motels and hotels, to authentic farm stays and heritage inns, you can always try something new in our Shire.
