LANTERN:

AFEZ has a beautiful new range of lanterns from Morocco, in store and new Indian hand painted and etched lanterns will be arriving in March from India (from our trip there in November 2010).  These are orb shaped and very popular.

ORIENTAL RUGS:

This northern Afghan  prayer rug is handknotted and is a wonderful example of the type of rugs we stock at AFEZ.  These are old pieces sourced from war torn Afghanistan.  We have many large carpets from this area too, which will soon be impossible to find because of the continuous war and the resettlement of the local people.

FURNITURE:

AFEZ stocks great eclectic pieces of furniture from India - old and new pieces.  This is a beautiful handmade coffee table from Morocco - other colours and styles are available.

JEWELLERY:

This beautiful necklace is a piece from the AYALA BAR collection from Israel.  AFEZ is one of the largest stockists (in W.A.) of this international designer of costume jewellery whose jewellery is very collectable and unique.

TEXTILES:

This beautiful hand embroidered umbrella is from Rajasthan, India.  AFEZ has a new container of custom ordered textiles from Rajasthan arriving in March - from our recent trip in November.  It will be full of sumptuous ottomans, cushions and lovely snuggly quilts to get you all through the winter months!

TILES & CERAMICS:

AFEZ travelled to Morocco last year and found some of the best ceramics and tiles ever!  We also stock tiles and ceramics from Turkey and India.  The Indian tiles are recycled (art nouveau era) which look great around fire places or even in contemporary homes.  We can assist you in designing a pattern for your own home.

Gemma Baker Jewellery * Desert Rose Jewellery * Loose Investment Pink Diamonds.

Easter Saturday 11th April

Talk to Terry Hunt and Gemma Baker by appointment only.

JahRoc is introducing Chris Soklich of Ellendale Diamonds Australia who is showcasing a jaw dropping selection of Argyle Pink Diamonds, both as loose investment stones and presented in his contemporary jewellery range called the Desert Rose Collection. Designed by Chris and made by award winning jewellers in house in Perth, the Desert Rose jewellery exudes pure elegance and authenticity.

Chris Soklich is a 2nd generation diamond merchant who deals only in ethically sourced diamonds from the Argyle and Ellendale mines in the Kimberley WA. All diamonds are supplied with a certificate of origin giving you reassurance of the provenance of the stone.

Working alongside Chris at Ellendale Diamonds, is Terry Hunt who has over 40 years sales experience in the jewellery industry and is a vastly knowledgeable diamond specialist.

Talk to Terry Hunt at the gallery or via phone about Argyle Pink Diamond investment opportunities and sales. Saturday 11th April by appointment.

4th generation jeweller and designer Gemma Baker has been instrumental in bringing Argyle Pink Diamonds to JahRoc, and is exhibiting a stunning collection of her own artistic jewellery set with a sprinkle of “pinks” to entice you all. Gemma is well known for her unique designs incorporating french knitting with Western Australian Abrolhos pearls and Argyle diamonds.

Lara Bennett of JahRoc Galleries and Gemma Baker are sisters, and grew up in the jewellery industry in Geraldton under their fathers guidance, Leon Baker who is a 3rd generation jeweller/watchmaker. Gemma worked in the family’s jewellery store in sales and design for over 10 years before embracing a 5yr jewellery apprenticeship, and creating her own name as a 4th generation fine jeweller.

Gemma Baker will be available in the gallery for Argyle Pink Diamond sales and for unique jewellery design from Friday 10th – Monday 13th by appointment.

Argyle produce over 90% of the worlds supply of pink diamonds, and this rare pink gem equates to just 1% of the Argyle mine’s total diamond production. Amazingly, a whole year’s worth could fit into the palm of your hand.

The Argyle Mine’s closure will be a major milestone and its significance has not been lost on the diamond community or savvy investors with a preference for hard assets. Pink diamonds have shown very good stability and consistency of investment performance over the long term and are insulated from stock market volatility.

Chairman of the Diamond Guild of Australia Michael Neuman said there had been no other mine like Argyle discovered in human history.

“There hasn’t been a new viable diamond mine discovery in the last 20 – 30 years and the ones that are currently in production all over the world are likely to become economically unviable in the next 50 years” he said

“To my mind, that means it’s extremely unlikely that another regular source of pinks will ever be found, because the conditions required for the formation of pink diamonds in nature are so freakish” www.abc.net.au Jan 2020

“To own an Argyle Diamond is to own a piece of Australian history”

Argyle Pink Diamond exhibition continues at JahRoc Galleries until 30th April.

Description

Emporium of Eshe was founded by Renee Evans, having had difficulty finding the perfect gift for her beloved family and friends. Renee longed for a store that indulged her creative side, a shop that provided a unique shopping experience. With that in mind, Renee set off on the adventure of a life time, to source an eclectic range of products that would soon become the perfect gifts for those who visited her store.

Emporium of Eshe opened it’s doors in Autumn 2007 in the beautiful seaside city of Bunbury, Western Australia. Although regionally based, Renee wanted her shop to provide an array of products, and an experience that could be found in any original city in the world. Our product range consists of women’s accessories, beauty, as well as gifts for the new mum or your very own little bundle of joy!

We also create our own jewellery label in store called Bowerbird. Design came naturally to Renee, creating unique handmade sterling silver jewellery and keepsakes for loved ones at a young age.  As popularity of these pieces grew, this eventually lead to the opening of Emporium of Eshe, and over time the range expanded to include other unique and well-respected Australian designers.

Emporium of Eshe stock the original nature inspired Bowerbird range, along with an extensive range of Australian designer jewellery. We have an extensive range of Australian designer handbags and leather goods as well as luscious hand poured candles and body products all under the one roof.

We are passionate about creating a unique retail experience whether we assist you in store or online. With an eye toward creativity we have a singular focus on pleasing and connecting with our customers. Our creative spirit is tangible in our products, our store windows and displays and our employees.

Emporium of Eshe was created for the creative-minded woman, who is looking for quality products found in Australian boutiques online. Unique as she is, we have the perfect gift to indulge her or that special someone – we truly get her!

So whether we meet you in store or online, we look forward to meeting you!
