Description

LANTERN:

AFEZ has a beautiful new range of lanterns from Morocco, in store and new Indian hand painted and etched lanterns will be arriving in March from India (from our trip there in November 2010).  These are orb shaped and very popular.

ORIENTAL RUGS:

This northern Afghan  prayer rug is handknotted and is a wonderful example of the type of rugs we stock at AFEZ.  These are old pieces sourced from war torn Afghanistan.  We have many large carpets from this area too, which will soon be impossible to find because of the continuous war and the resettlement of the local people.

FURNITURE:

AFEZ stocks great eclectic pieces of furniture from India - old and new pieces.  This is a beautiful handmade coffee table from Morocco - other colours and styles are available.

JEWELLERY:

This beautiful necklace is a piece from the AYALA BAR collection from Israel.  AFEZ is one of the largest stockists (in W.A.) of this international designer of costume jewellery whose jewellery is very collectable and unique.

TEXTILES:

This beautiful hand embroidered umbrella is from Rajasthan, India.  AFEZ has a new container of custom ordered textiles from Rajasthan arriving in March - from our recent trip in November.  It will be full of sumptuous ottomans, cushions and lovely snuggly quilts to get you all through the winter months!

TILES & CERAMICS:

AFEZ travelled to Morocco last year and found some of the best ceramics and tiles ever!  We also stock tiles and ceramics from Turkey and India.  The Indian tiles are recycled (art nouveau era) which look great around fire places or even in contemporary homes.  We can assist you in designing a pattern for your own home.

Description

Emporium of Eshe was founded by Renee Evans, having had difficulty finding the perfect gift for her beloved family and friends. Renee longed for a store that indulged her creative side, a shop that provided a unique shopping experience. With that in mind, Renee set off on the adventure of a life time, to source an eclectic range of products that would soon become the perfect gifts for those who visited her store.

Emporium of Eshe opened it’s doors in Autumn 2007 in the beautiful seaside city of Bunbury, Western Australia. Although regionally based, Renee wanted her shop to provide an array of products, and an experience that could be found in any original city in the world. Our product range consists of women’s accessories, beauty, as well as gifts for the new mum or your very own little bundle of joy!

We also create our own jewellery label in store called Bowerbird. Design came naturally to Renee, creating unique handmade sterling silver jewellery and keepsakes for loved ones at a young age.  As popularity of these pieces grew, this eventually lead to the opening of Emporium of Eshe, and over time the range expanded to include other unique and well-respected Australian designers.

Emporium of Eshe stock the original nature inspired Bowerbird range, along with an extensive range of Australian designer jewellery. We have an extensive range of Australian designer handbags and leather goods as well as luscious hand poured candles and body products all under the one roof.

We are passionate about creating a unique retail experience whether we assist you in store or online. With an eye toward creativity we have a singular focus on pleasing and connecting with our customers. Our creative spirit is tangible in our products, our store windows and displays and our employees.

Emporium of Eshe was created for the creative-minded woman, who is looking for quality products found in Australian boutiques online. Unique as she is, we have the perfect gift to indulge her or that special someone – we truly get her!

So whether we meet you in store or online, we look forward to meeting you!

Wag Walters at Ford House

In five rooms, including a 100yr old barn, WAGs has every conceivable homewares and gifts in a garden setting at historic Ford House – quilts, crockery, handmade, lamps and much more.

Description

WAG WALTERS EMPORIUM is in the heart of south-west western Australia, in Bridgetown, on the Blackwood River. It has 5 rooms crammed full of homewares and gifts, in an aladdins cave of finery. From crockery to scarves, toys to baby clothes, jewellery and quilts from all over the world.

Apart from a garden setting draped in silver birches with pots, birdhouses and frogs, the main display is in the 100 year old slab barn, with its permanent Christmas display, and lamps of every size and description. Gollys and Father Xmas look on, along with a silent 6m wall of bottled fruit. The barn is often described as an Alladins Cave. Every part is magical, from the flickering fairy lights to the array of unusual gifts…there is a chook corner, birds in nests adorn the oval dinner table where 14 guests from the B&B sit each morning, sharing homemade food and stories alike. There is even a floor to ceiling bling cupboard with finery and jewellery. Childrens books, recipe books and memorabilia are scattered throughout to complete the feel of a country store well worth visiting.

The main shop, however, is a girls paradise with crockery from Portugal, England, Poland and China all clambering for attention. Colour is in demand in this country paradise so there is a wide range of vividly coloured accessories to brighten up every winter wardrobe, with a wall of fantastic necklaces, rings and bangles from Israel, France, Italy, South Africa and from every place in between. Cuddly toys rest in baskets as they are looked over by more serious contenders such as Gund, Russ and Charlie Bears above. Scarves and wraps make a perfect foil for the broaches and necklaces.

In the Lucille Room beyond, the theme is bedding, with quilts in cotton, velvet and silk piled high on the shelves, and cushions and throws spilling out on the bed, with pictures and bedlamps completing the vision.

Wag Walters Emporium at Ford House Retreat is Jenny’s lifelong dream. Ever since she was 4 years old and given a “Boomerang” cash register, she had a vision of owning her own store. It was definately a perfect career move, 50 years later. At WAG WALTERS EMPORIUM, the extraordinary is a matter of adding extra to the ordinary, so each gift is beautifully wrapped so that they are a joy to the giver and the recipient.

Open 9am-5pm daily
