Museums in Albany Region

The Western Australian Museum has several branches throughout the state, including one in Albany, with a focus on the unique natural and social history of the region. Exhibitions at the museum highlight the biodiversity of the area, the stories of the indigenous Noongar people, and the ancient natural environment. Additionally, the museum offers public programs to engage visitors and educational programs for students to learn about the Albany region's history.

Another attraction in Albany is the Museum of the Great Southern, refurbished in July 2010, which explores the region's biodiversity, indigenous culture, and natural environment.
