Named after former Prime Minister Sir Robert Menzies, the reserve offers expansive lawns, walking trails, and sports facilities. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks, play sports, or spend time at the playground with their families. The reserve is best visited during the spring and autumn months, but it is open year-round. To reach the reserve, visitors can take the No. 16 Tram on Glenferrie Road or the train to Tooronga Station. A nearby attraction is the Yarra Valley Wine & Food Day Tour with lunch at Yering Station.
