Profile
Visitors can take a self-guided tour along the three-kilometre walking track to explore the majestic Redwood trees and encounter unique flora and fauna. The forest is also an ideal place for a picnic, with available facilities such as picnic tables, benches, and restrooms. The Pialligo Redwood Forest is accessible throughout the year, and visitors can enjoy different seasonal experiences. To get to the forest, it is easily accessible by private car and public transport from Canberra’s central district. Bicycles and vehicles are prohibited in the forest to preserve its beauty and protect the trees’ shallow root systems, but visitors with dogs on a leash are allowed.
