Originally known as the Bridge to Nowhere, it was built in 1980 but never led to the intended industrial area. Now, it leads to an undeveloped peninsula with no infrastructure. Despite not being a major tourist attraction, the bridge offers visitors the chance to explore the area and enjoy beautiful views of Port Pirie Creek and the wharves. Fishermen also frequent the banks of “nowhere” to try their luck. The best time to visit is during the warmer months, from December to February. Visitors can easily reach the bridge area by car or bus, and there are various accommodation options available newline.
