For artists living in Perth, the most isolated state capital in the world, this relationship is particularly important as they constantly negotiate how to share their artworks beyond the city limits.

As part of PICA’s 2024 International Artist Exchange Program between Perth and Taipei, two selected artists will be invited to participate in BLEED 2024, presenting work in Perth and Taipei in person from March to April and online during the BLEED festival from September-October 2024. This online presentation will be accompanied by a series of conversations hosted online for BLEED ECHO.
