Wellington Discovery Forest

Situated amongst the magnificent jarrah forest of the Wellington National Park, this centre offers an educational experience for young and old.

The Wellington Discovery Forest centre incorporates self guided walk trails through the forest and information to give an insight into jarrah forest ecology and past management of the forest. Nearer to Nature excursions are offered to school groups throughout the park and accommodation is available at the Wellington Forest Cottages for people who want to stay a little longer.

The centre is open free of charge to the public several days a week during school holidays with access to a great taxidermy display and craft activities for kids. In addition there are other activities scheduled on selected dates (cost applies) which can be booked online.
