Moore's Hut Campground

Caravan & Camping

Description

Moore’s Hut is a relic from the pastoral era and camping is provided in a nearby peppermint woodland.

Towards the eastern end of the park you will find Coodamurrup Beach. 'Coodie' as it is referred to by locals, is a southerly facing beach that is defined by the Gardiner River to the west and the rocks of Fish Creek to the east. As you approach the beach you will see Moore’s Hut, one of the original settler’s huts in the area where visitors can stay the night and experience how the graziers of old lived on this coast. Camping fees apply.

Getting There

Moore’s Hut is approximately 2 hours from Pemberton. Access to Moore’s Hut is 4WD only. Be sure to reduce your tyre pressure when driving on sand.
