Tucked just off Hay Street, The Village Bar is Subiaco’s newest local. Entering off a laneway, this sophisticated neighbourhood bar offers 15 beers on tap, plenty of dining and drinking nooks, a Private Room and a wine list jammed full of very drinkable drops.
Relaxed and welcoming with a polished edge, this bar and eatery is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. The kitchen focuses on fresh produce prepared in satisfying, rustic and simple dishes. From bar snacks and main meals to dessert, this winning combination has the local critics and loyal patrons raving.
Happy hour is every weekday at 5-6pm, with $6 house wines and beers. Every Friday from 5pm, happy hour offerings include $10 classic, passionfruit and raspberry mojitos and $3 off all tap beers.

Luxe navy velvet couches, exposed brick, yellow and white striped awnings and vintage tiles are all topped off with splashes of greenery. A combination of booth seating, high bars, couches and ottomans to choose from allows guests to drink and dine and really settle in. A collection of the best local DJ’s perform on Friday and Saturday nights with an eclectic mix of laidback beats, soul, blues and party anthems to get everybody up and dancing. Wednesday nights see local acoustic acts and café DJ’s warming up the cool kids in town.

Other features include a Private Dining Room. Complete with its own fire place and plasma TV, the room can be made completely or partly private thanks to thick draping. The area can comfortably seat up to 30 people, or 40 standing and is perfect for private dinners, celebrations or business meetings.
