Talyuberlup

Attractions

Description

The Talyuberlup walk offers the unique experience of looking through a hole in the mountain.

The walk up Talyuberlup Peak starts with a gentle uphill stroll through Talyuberlrup mallee and Veronica`s wattle. This gentle slope quickly changes becoming a steep slippery scramble up the mountain until you arrive at the base of the cliff face. Once there you follow the trail up to a large cave, which goes through the mountain. DPaW recommends you follow the trail around the mountain as the rocks overhanging the cave are slowly falling. The track then has a short, near vertical ascent until you near the top of the peak where the walk trail curls around making it an easy walk to the top. For more information visit TrailsWA.
