Description

Elizabeth Quay is at the heart of our plan to revitalise the city centre and enhance Perth’s reputation as one of the most livable cities in the world. This $2.6 billion project creates a true waterfront precinct and will soon be part of the physical and cultural fabric of our city.

Perth’s riverfront was once a place for picnics and paddling, with public baths along the water’s edge. As the city grew, new development cut off the connection between the river and the city, culminating in 1940 when Riverside Drive was built. Elizabeth Quay brings the river and the city together again, creating new recreational opportunities for Perth locals and visitors.

Perth’s population is expanding, which means the city needs new hotels, offices, retail outlets, and places to eat and drink. Elizabeth Quay will deliver a range of exciting new places and facilities for central Perth.
