Northbridge Brewing Company (NBC) is Perth’s latest brewery, bar and restaurant located in the heart of the city at Northbridge Piazza on the corner of Lake and James Streets.

NBC is all about providing a relaxed atmosphere in a unique custom built venue, where exceptionally well made beer is the focus. NBC is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and overlooks the green grass of the Northbridge Piazza. With such an outlook, you can’t help but be relaxed, if only for a moment, in the same way you would be if you were enjoying some of the fantastic breweries down south or in the Swan Valley.

NBC comprises the ground level Piazza Bar, the Tank Bar on level two and the rooftop Skydeck, all overlooking the city. The brewery has been designed to complement and integrate with activity in Northbridge Piazza providing a welcoming family friendly environment for people of all ages. The venue has a distinctly Western Australian feel, with timber salvaged from the old Perry Lakes Stadium, recycled bricks and feature lighting and a large wooden beam hanging over the bar sourced from the historic Art Deco Ford Factory in North Fremantle.

The custom built brewery currently produces four beers onsite including Beerland Lager, Beerland Pale Ale, Beerland Wheat and Beerland Mild. The amber liquid is only available over the bar, straight from the tank and a regular, but diverse range of seasonal brews are planned. We also have a full bar including a range of other beers and ciders and an extensive wine list. Beerland Brewing is NBC’s own beer brand overseen by Master Brewer Ken Arrowsmith.

NBC’s onsite brewery is a complex installation which has the capacity to produce up to 150,000L of beer each year from its 12HL brewhouse. Considered one of Australia’s most advanced breweries for its size, NBC utilises a step-wise infusion process which provides extra flexibility to create a variety of beer styles. In addition to our current core range, we will also produce limited edition seasonal brews – sure to raise the bar throughout the year. `Beer is dear to us and as it is over 90 per cent water, we have installed a reverse osmosis system to guarantee the purity of the water being used and allows us to replicate water characteristics associated with particular beer styles. Better water means better beer.
