Monastery Landing

Enjoy a picnic in serene surroundings at the historic Monastery Landing.

Canoe hire is available at Nornalup and you can launch your vessel at the boat ramp by the bridge.

Picnic tables are provided so pack a snack to enjoy the stillness and serenity that surrounds you.

Go with a Guide
Check with the Visitor Centre in Walpole about a tour cruise through the inlet and up to Monastery Landing with a local guide.

Getting there

Access is by road or via the Frankland River in a canoe or small boat. Be aware though that the access road to Monastery Landing is seasonally closed in the wetter months. Contact Parks and Wildlife in Walpole for up-to-date information.
