JahRoc is introducing Chris Soklich of Ellendale Diamonds Australia who is showcasing a jaw dropping selection of Argyle Pink Diamonds, both as loose investment stones and presented in his contemporary jewellery range called the Desert Rose Collection. Designed by Chris and made by award winning jewellers in house in Perth, the Desert Rose jewellery exudes pure elegance and authenticity.

Chris Soklich is a 2nd generation diamond merchant who deals only in ethically sourced diamonds from the Argyle and Ellendale mines in the Kimberley WA. All diamonds are supplied with a certificate of origin giving you reassurance of the provenance of the stone.

Working alongside Chris at Ellendale Diamonds, is Terry Hunt who has over 40 years sales experience in the jewellery industry and is a vastly knowledgeable diamond specialist.

Talk to Terry Hunt at the gallery or via phone about Argyle Pink Diamond investment opportunities and sales. Saturday 11th April by appointment.

4th generation jeweller and designer Gemma Baker has been instrumental in bringing Argyle Pink Diamonds to JahRoc, and is exhibiting a stunning collection of her own artistic jewellery set with a sprinkle of “pinks” to entice you all. Gemma is well known for her unique designs incorporating french knitting with Western Australian Abrolhos pearls and Argyle diamonds.

Lara Bennett of JahRoc Galleries and Gemma Baker are sisters, and grew up in the jewellery industry in Geraldton under their fathers guidance, Leon Baker who is a 3rd generation jeweller/watchmaker. Gemma worked in the family’s jewellery store in sales and design for over 10 years before embracing a 5yr jewellery apprenticeship, and creating her own name as a 4th generation fine jeweller.

Gemma Baker will be available in the gallery for Argyle Pink Diamond sales and for unique jewellery design from Friday 10th – Monday 13th by appointment.

Argyle produce over 90% of the worlds supply of pink diamonds, and this rare pink gem equates to just 1% of the Argyle mine’s total diamond production. Amazingly, a whole year’s worth could fit into the palm of your hand.

The Argyle Mine’s closure will be a major milestone and its significance has not been lost on the diamond community or savvy investors with a preference for hard assets. Pink diamonds have shown very good stability and consistency of investment performance over the long term and are insulated from stock market volatility.

Chairman of the Diamond Guild of Australia Michael Neuman said there had been no other mine like Argyle discovered in human history.

“There hasn’t been a new viable diamond mine discovery in the last 20 – 30 years and the ones that are currently in production all over the world are likely to become economically unviable in the next 50 years” he said

“To my mind, that means it’s extremely unlikely that another regular source of pinks will ever be found, because the conditions required for the formation of pink diamonds in nature are so freakish” www.abc.net.au Jan 2020

“To own an Argyle Diamond is to own a piece of Australian history”

Argyle Pink Diamond exhibition continues at JahRoc Galleries until 30th April.
