Locals John & Maria Mead excitedly opened the doors to The Cavern in 2012 and the restaurant has been busy from the get go, with many regulars frequenting weekly for the delicious food of renowned chef John Mead.
John is Perth restaurant royalty with a career spanning 30 years; first with his Dad, the infamous Warren Mead, and the last decade as the owner of the award winning restaurant Cream in East Perth.
The 'World Tapas' menu provides generous share portions of modern classics from around the globe. “We source as much as we can locally and hand make everything in house except the bread” John explains.
