Description

Tall Ship Sailing
Experience the thrill of tall ship sailing onboard STS Leeuwin II. This 1850’s style barquentine sails along the stunning WA coastline throughout the year and offers a number of exciting sailing options.

3 hour Short Sails
Take on this great adventure and participate in sailing activities such as setting sails and hauling lines, taking the helm and climbing the tall masts. You can also choose to sit back and relax while our expert crew takes care of the sailing. Great fun for the whole family and gift vouchers are available for that perfect present.

7 day Ocean-Going Voyages
The Leeuwin operates under the principle of “challenge by choice” where the Leeuwin II is a working ship and all participants are expected to be involved in most aspects of ship operations, from sailing, steering, navigating and cleaning the ship to climbing the masts. The level of challenge is up to each participant. Our many years of operation clearly demonstrate that the more each participant is willing to challenge themselves, the more they take away from the experience.

Giving Back to the Community
All proceeds from these sails goes towards continuing the Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundations youth development work. Since 1985, the Foundation has allowed more than 40,000 young people to experience a unique, challenging and inspirational ocean adventure.
