We appeal to the man who is looking for something unique. We make clothes for ‘stepping out’ and there’s no other brand in Australia really like us. We offer the promise of a very special night out.

We also appeal strongly to tourists. There is nothing quite like Politix around the world. We are a destination for people looking to take home something special in the way of Australian fashion.

With our unique take on men’s dressing, Politix has long been a celebrity brand.

From the outset we’ve always done our thing. We don’t copy from International labels and we don’t buy products from other suppliers – everything is original.

We do our own drawings and our own pattern making. Both our lead designers started as pattern-makers. Every new item gets 3 fittings. Now that’s probably not the most efficient way of doing things, but it does make our fit better.

FAMOUS FOR OUR SHIRTING

Over the years we’ve built a reputation for having the best shirting collection in Australia. The Australian male really responds to a great shirt.

Maybe it’s the weather, maybe its our slightly more relaxed lifestyle, but we know that every night, our customer is looking to put on a shirt that is a bit unique. A shirt that has a unique fabric, a special pattern or a certain cut that will make him stand out.

We are obsessed with our shirting range. Whilst most other retailers bring 40-50 different types of shirts out each season, we produce over 200 styles.

We especially like our European range of shirting. Each season we travel to the key Italian and French mills just before they launch at the major fashion shows. Over the years we have built up relationships that allow us to gain exclusive usage of their new designs. Because we buy fabric on the spot, our product is in the market 6 months before the Northern Hemisphere

Politix was the first company in Australia to develop men’s leather fashion and we are now by far the biggest.

We love leather. We love the way it looks, smells and how it can complete an outfit.

We also love the way that we’ve become known for it. It means that every season, we put extra care, innovation and design into making our leather collection as good as anything else made around the world.
