Perth’s favourite urban destination will be transformed into a winter wonderland when THE LODGE @140 pops up during the City of Perth’s Winter Arts Season.
A cosy space where people of all ages can meet, eat, play vintage board games, relax or make the most of 140’s free high speed WiFi, THE LODGE will see 140 receive a temporary ski lodge inspired makeover. A holiday from the everyday in the heart of the City of Perth, THE LODGE @140 will feature live music, a book exchange and a crochet workshop by Perth’s own king of crochet, ChiliPhilly.
Best known for his quirky handmade food bonnets, Phil Ferguson, aka ChiliPhilly, will share his passion for crochet hats with craft lovers at 140, revealing the secrets behind his success during a free workshop and Q&A session. Boasting over 140,000 Instagram followers, this self taught crochet king will add a new level of warmth to THE LODGE @140 when he meets fans on July 1.
Visitors can come down to THE LODGE @ 140 to enjoy a rang of activities and activations including:
- Selection of free board games and chess available to play with friends for
- Daily acoustic performances from local artists at 12 noon and 5pm.
- SMS your coffee and muffin orders to East Village and have them delivered to The Lodge. (Choose from Red Velvet and Oreo, Chocolate and Marshmallow and Salted Caramel with Maple Bacon! Just $7 for coffee and muffin combo)
- Communal dining spaces to enjoy food from the 140 retailers, plus cosy corners to curl up with a book
