Ipso Facto Wines

Ipso Facto is Latin for ‘by the fact itself’, with the intention to make wine which is a reflection of both the vineyard and Kate Morgans winemaking philosophy.

Kate Morgan's dream was to create interesting, elegant and complex wine using her knowledge and precision from what fruit to use, when to pick, fermentation vessel, temperature, time in oak & when to bottle. All of Kate's wines are made with minimal additions. 

After graduating from Curtin University with a degree in viticulture and oenology, Kate worked vintages in Australia and overseas before returning to WA to make her dream a realisation.
