Experience an Ultimate Adventure fishing for the famous sportfish, the wild barramundi.

Travel to the historic 'Bend of the Ord' on the Lower Ord River system in the East Kimberley, 1 hour's 4WD ex Kununurra. Safaris depart daily from Hairy Dog's Fishing Camp, set up bush style with kitchen shelter, verandah dining, screened rooms, bunkhouse and ablution block, all with river views. The experienced knowledgeable guides will traverse the shallow waters in pursuit of the elusive barramundi and will get you hooked!

Catering for a minimum two, maximum three persons per boat, you will partake in a more personalised and relaxed small boat fishing adventure safari. All safaris include guided fishing, fishing gear (rods & reels on a replace if lost basis), camp accommodation if required, all meals whilst on safari, snacks, fruit, cool drink and courtesy transfers ex Kununurra. You will need to bring a shady hat, sunblock, insect repellent, personal items, any alcoholic drinks and a camera to catch the action!

Participants need to be in reasonable fitness, wear protective outdoor clothing and to advise of any food allergy or dislike or of any medical condition. Self contained travellers welcome to stay in our unpowered campgrounds.

Travel from Kununurra along the Victoria Highway towards Wyndham, 12Km turn right on to the scenic road, Valentines Springs Road, follow to end then veer left on to the Parry Creek Road. Travel along this road approx. 32km until you see crimson bougainvillea and the signs for Ultimate Adventures barra fishing. Camping and showers available.
