Just one hour's drive from Perth, the stunning Chittering Valley is fast emerging as a  popular wine,  food and sculpture trail.   The easily accessible trail takes you through the valley's tranquil rolling hills offering views of vines, orchards, pasture and bushland. Sample some of the many award winning wines along the way, choose a venue for lunch or take a picnic.  The trail begins in Bullsbrook and winds its way along Chittering Road ending at Jylland Vineyard near Gingin.

Stay overnight at a farmstay, bed & breakfast or chalet, there are many to choose from..

In Bindoon, the Brockman Centre houses the Bindoon Heritage Museum and the Bindoon Arts and Crafts centre.  There are wonderful displays of wildflowers in spring, culminating in the annual Chittering Wildflower Festival in September. The Bindoon Agricultural Show is held in October. You can even enjoy a tour of the working orchards and take home freshly picked fruit.

An important   landmark of the area is the co-educational Catholic Agricultural College Bindoon, ten kilometres north of Bindoon. East of the College lies the huge hardwood forest knows as Julimar, where tracts of wildflowers can  be seen. Visits to this area are by arrangement with the Chittering Visitor Centre.
