TEG Dainty announced today that global pop superstar KATY PERRY’s WITNESS: The Tour will come to Australia next July and August in support of her new album Witness.
WITNESS: The Tour will kick off at Perth Arena on Tuesday 24 July before playing dates across Australia.
With her new album Witness, Katy reflects on the changes in her own life and in the world around her, delivering songs that both challenge and inspire. The singles released thus far – the Platinum-certified “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley, the follow-up single “Bon Appétit” featuring Migos and “Swish Swish” featuring Nicki Minaj – hint at the breadth of the musical and thematic elements found on Witness.
“Bon Appétit” is officially Katy’s fastest viewed music video of all time with 14.2 million views in the first 24 hours – now approaching 190 million! The single was #1 Most Added at Australian Radio in its first week.
This tour is Katy’s first run since the sold-out, 151-date Prismatic World Tour, which was hailed by Rolling Stone as “a show to damage retinas and blow minds.” Katy played a staggering 23 shows across Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane on the Australian leg of the tour.
