South32 Rottnest Channel Swim 2021

The annual event has become one of Western Australia's favourites, attracting swimmers, volunteers and spectators to the Island year after year.

The South32 Rottnest Channel Swim has become the Island's most recognised event, creating a team atmosphere surrounding solo, due and team competitors with a large support network. This year, the event will be held in February.

Starting at Cottesloe Beach, swimmers will complete a 19.7km swim across open water, finishing at Rottnest Island. The event offers spectators a range of activities and entertainment over the course of the day, and is free to the public although if spectators are wanting to view from the island their own travel fees are required.
