After delighting Perth audiences for 25 years, The Giovanni Consort will be performing new and old choral favourites in the stunning Government House Ballroom.
The Giovanni Consort is delighted to be celebrating a special milestone - The Giovanni 25th Anniversary! Join us in the beautiful Government House Ballroom as some of Perth's best and brightest ensemble singers perform gems from the past and new local compositions.
Lead by Artistic Director, Hugh Lydon, WA’s professional chamber choir will sing diverse repertoire from famed international composers such as Arvo Pärt, Edward Elgar, and Ralph Vaughan Williams, alongside some of Perth’s homegrown talents, including Perry Joyce and the young emerging composer Joshua Adams.
The performers will be Brianna Louwen, Bonnie de la Hunty, Amber Lister, Gabrielle Scheggia, Ry Charleson, Kieran Lynch, Joshua Adams, and Nathaniel Shivaraman, all of whom are frequent collaborators with Giovanni.
Please come and mingle with performers for refreshments before the performances. The two concerts will take place on Saturday 12th September at 7:30pm and Sunday 13th September at 2:30pm.
