You've heard the rumours, you've heard the lies, now Sex, Drugs and Fleetwood Mac - Rumours from a True Story will reveal all in a world premiere rock-cabaret performed by Zalia Joi and her band, Sweetwood, one of Australia's premiere Fleetwood Mac tribute acts on 22nd - 26th January, Downstairs At His Maj, His Majesty’s Theatre for Fringe World Festival 2019 at 9pm for five nights.
Focusing on the stormy relationship between lead singer Stevie Nicks (Zalia Joi, actress, performer and writer) and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham (Shannon Smith, lead guitarist) the pair will plunge audiences into inner world of Fleetwood Mac.
Produced by ACES Cabaret and written by Zalia Joi (Lead Singer) and collaborated with writer Tiffany Barton band members include Shannon Smith (guitar /vocals), Pete Townsend (keyboard/ vocals), Reilly Stewart (Drums), Daine Spowart (percussion), Stephano Bonfanti (bass), Summer Williams (supporting actor).
Based on the stories behind the songs, the internal turmoil and legacy which created this legendary super group, Sex, Drugs and Fleetwood Mac features the most popular songs from the Buckingham-Nicks era including Dreams, Go Your Own Way, Tusk, Don’t Stop, You Make Loving Fun, Gypsy and many more.
