NAIDOC Library Challenge (expired event)

Events Nov 1 - Nov 30

City of Perth Library, 573 Hay St, Perth, WA 6000

Description

This November, challenge yourself to learn more about the nations, language, stories and knowledge of Aboriginal Australians in celebration of NAIDOC Week.

The City of Perth Library has a range of resources to help you explore this year's NAIDOC theme: Always Was, Always Will Be.

The City of Perth encourages you to read, listen to or watch a work by an Aboriginal artist and share a review to help start the conversation. Win badges along the way and complete the Challenge for a chance to win a hamper of our favourite works.

Join the Challenge to track your reading, participate in activities and access recommendations from other readers.

Reading can improve your knowledge, build vocabulary, increase empathy and reduce stress. Reading can even help you sleep. For children, early exposure to books and stories substantially improves literacy and offers lifelong benefits.

Suitable for all ages.
