Description

Led by Curatorial Fellow, Miranda Johnson, this insightful event is PICA's first artist talk since reopening and features the following WA Hatched artists: 

Annie Huang’s practice navigates a deeper understanding of the second-generation Chinese-Australian migrant identity, exploring the concept of home and belonging in a state of cultural dislocation.

Daniel Kristjansson creates work explores compositional complexity, striving to capture the experience of encountering a complicated, ambiguous thing and compulsively searching out details within it.

Siahne Rogers’ practice stems from their extensive background in performing arts and cabaret theatre, and their interest in the relationship between humour and everyday life.
