A Night in New Orleans - Hot Jazz under the Stars (expired event)

Imagine Hot Summer Nights in the State Theatre Centre Courtyard, under the stars with the Hot 6 Brass Band playing some Hot Jazz from New Orleans and some amazing vintage dancers. Allow us to take you from the streets and parades of the French Quarter. You'll want to the join the parade and dance and sing along.

The Award Winning Adam Hall and his Hot 6 Brass band will party like they are in New Orleans at the Mardi Gras. All the Hit songs like "When the Saint's go Marching In" and "This little light of mine" as well as famous artists like Louis Armstrong, Harry Connick Jr, Fats Domino and Professor Longhair.

Adam Hall is an accomplished Trumpeter, Vocalist and Composer based in Perth, Australia.

His band, The Velvet Playboys and the Hot 6 are renowned for their captivating live performances marked by slick presentation and raw energy. Adam has since made regular tours to Europe and various cities all over the world including Singapore, Boston, New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles. He has performed throughout Germany at the Jazzclub Rheingau, Yorckschlösschen, Ratskeller Köpenick and on the Rhein River, and played at the Rockin’ Race Jamboree in Spain and the Metropol in Vienna. Adam was a guest musician in Jeremy Monteiro’s Merry Bebop: A Jazzy Christmas for 2013 and headlined the opening night of the Berne Jazz & Blues Sessions in Switzerland in 2014.
