Description

Highly experienced WA playwright Hellie Turner invites you to engage with her in a lively 7 week workshop, designed to assist you to construct & write a dramatic monologue centred on a ‘defining event or issue’ from your life story.

In order to develop an engaging dramatic monologue the writer needs to undertake certain explorations. To this end, participants will engage in a range of dynamic writing exercises and related discussion.

At the culmination of the workshop these monologues will be ‘read’ for an audience by professional actors.

The dates for the workshop are as follows:
