Description

Horizons Sunday Concert Series is a collection of free, twilight family friendly world music concerts held in Northbridge Piazza. Featuring a diversity of global cultures, including Cuban, Indian, Chinese and Congolese, Horizons will wow you with the extraordinary musicality of some of Perth’s best musicians and have you dancing to the beat of dynamic cultural collaborations emerging in our community. 

Led by dazzling Indian sarod virtuoso Praashekh Borkar, The Praashekh Quartet push the edges of the Indian raga tradition into new and vibrant improvisational spheres. Borkar is considered one of India’s leading younger generation musicians, and is e-sarod is joined by Vick Ramakrishnan (tabla), Mark Cain (reed instruments), and Wayan Dana (bass).

Horizons Sunday Concert Series is a celebration of Northbridge's cultural diversity, we hope you enjoy the lush lawns, smooth sounds, foot tapping beats and amazing Northbridge eats.
