Description

An irreverent look at life with Aspergers through the unconventional lens of a cabaret show.

Be transported somewhere over the spectrum to NYC in The Aspie Hour; an irreverent and inventive cabaret that tackles the many misconceptions about being an 'Aspie' today. Sophie Smyth and Ryan Smedley, both diagnosed with Aspergers in their youth, are a fresh, dynamic duo who explore what it's like to be an Aspie through the prism of their identical obsession: music theatre.

Connecting with Aspies and neurotypicals alike, The Aspie Hour blows away misconceptions about Asperger's Syndrome. Together they flail through misread social cues, exhibit their awkward-est behaviour, and sing the hell out of everything. Don't miss this award-winning show as it makes its Perth debut!
