Description

Experiments were undertaken by the government agency in the hope that the behaviour of these insects would assist with the identification of gold deposits and lead to increased efficiency in gold exploration.

Nicholas Mangan takes this research as the outline for a sculptural installation that includes archival documentation and field footage produced by the artist to imagine the possible outcomes leading from this human imposition.
