Seaside 'Joyride' Tour (expired event)

Following a string of successful 2019 releases, Byron Bay indie-rockers Seaside are at it again with blistering new single 'Joyride'.

Mixed by Konstantin Kersting (The Belligerents, The Jungle Giants and WAAX), and mastered by George Geogiadis (Last Dinosaurs, Charlie Collins and Gang Of Youths), 'Joyride' adds a faster, post-punk tinge to the bands already broad sonic palette. Recorded at Rocking Horse Studios in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland region, with engineer Paul Pulseniks (Powderfinger, The Living End, Angus & Julia Stone), the song is written about "anyone who puts you down", explains frontwoman Darcy Dexter, "and the strength it takes to leave a toxic situation".

The single comes following a busy live schedule which has seen them touring nationally with the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, and Good Doogs, as well as a slew of festival appearances at Splendour in the Grass, Party in the Paddock, Grampians Music Festival and soon, BIGSOUND festival.

'Joyride' is the first single off Seaside's highly anticipated forthcoming debut album, slated for release in early 2020.
