A frenetic performance from WAAPA's premiere percussion ensemble Defying Gravity, lead by renowned percussionist Le Yu.
Sparks fly as the amazing Chinese percussionist Le Yu leads Defying Gravity into a magical world of sound, rhythm and groove, using marimbas, vibraphones and a kaleidoscope of gorgeous and exotic percussion instruments. You’ll also hear percussion classics by Edgard Vare`se, Stewart Copeland of The Police, Brazilian samba, and Riverdance in an electrifying celebration of the art of percussion!
